Welcome to our blog
We’ve been manufacturing green household cleaning products for over 10 years, so we’re aware that consumers have very little information to go on when choosing a cleaning product from the store shelf. And the process is growing increasingly confusing thanks to the exponential proliferation of so-called environment friendly products in recent years.
This is what inspired the idea of designing a website that reflected our commitment to being transparent and our desire to appropriately inform consumers about green household cleaning products.
The site went online in 2009.
Our goal is to provide new and updated informative content on an ongoing basis, which is why we are now introducing Phase 2 of our consumer communication web strategy: a blog.
The blog is primarily a way of communicating directly with the community of current and future consumers, with a view to answering your questions and providing you with tangible, scientific information.
Our bloggers are professionals in their field who will alternately take turns sharing their expert views on our industry and the issue of sustainability.
We will of course also use this link to you to keep you in lockstep with what’s new at Bio-Vert, from product launches and events and shows we will be participating in, to the very latest news about the company.
The blog is also your forum for voicing ideas and comments, so we look forward to your feedback.
Here’s to happy blogging all around!

Dear Mrs Bigras,
First of all, let us thank you for your interest in our Bio-Vert products.
You are going to be able to find the Bio-Vert laundry detergent without fragrance at Brunet Pharmacy and natural product store (Tau, Rachel Berry)
Just let us reassure you that all our synthetic fragrances meet the IFRA (International Fragrance Association) criteria: it means that there is no phthalates or other dangerous petroleum derivatives like organic solvents or glycol ethers. These perfumes are completely safe for the environment and the humans, and there’s only an amount of 0.2% in the products. There are only two products where we use essential oils: Dishwashing liquid and All purpose cleaner.
There are two main reasons we do not use the essential oils in our products:
- The essential oils are not very stable in the detergent’s formulas and,
- They provoke more allergic reactions than synthetic ones. Because of this, the essential oils are prohibited to use in cosmetic products in Europe legislation, for example.
We understand that some of our customers do not like to use detergents with fragrance, this is why we have put on sale a Laundry detergent without fragrance that can be used in both types of laundry washer.
If you have any more questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact us.
Team of Bio-Vert

Hi there,
I love to make my own eco products st home, and when I can't, I buy yours, like the dish washer tabs and the liquid dish soap. However, the one product that I REALLY want and cannot buy is your natural unscented bio-vert laundry detergent. I find it ridiculous that our local pharmacy cannot supply it when we live in the same province where your product is being made.
...
Also, I have a little difficulty with the word fragrance? This is bad for our health. So, why is it in your products, like you fabric softeners and detergents??? Why not have essential oils as scents instead? Wouldn't that be a "greener" choice?
Thanks for reading, I hope I get a response soon. I really would like to use your detergent on my cloth diapers but can't :(
Joanna
